Sydney is a proud Chicago gal, born and raised on the north side of the city. She attended high school at the Chicago Academy for the Arts as a part of their Musical Theatre department, and graduated in 2014. She then headed to Boston to pursue her BFA in Musical Theatre at Emerson College, and graduated in May of 2018.
Post grad, Sydney spent a season at Florida Repertory Theatre in Fort Myers, Florida. She appeared in their main stage productions as Fan & Catherine in "Christmas Carol" and as Jackie in "Hay Fever". She also appeared in the theatre's touring TYA shows as Juliet in "Romeo & Juliet", Sally in "The Cat in the Hat", and originating the role of Isabel in Eric Coble's adaptation of "Refugee".
Sydney now calls New York City home. Since becoming a New Yorker, she has appeared in Theaterworks USA's East Coast Tour of "Peter Pan" in the Fall/Winter of 2019. She is currently rehearing for at Seacoast Rep's upcoming production of "A Chorus Line" in Portsmouth, NH.
In her spare time, Sydney loves walking around museums, people watching in Central Park, styling outfits, filling her brain with random pop culture trivia, watching old movies, and seeing as much theatre as she possibly can.
