Sydney is a proud Chicago gal, born and raised on the north side of the city. She attended high school at the Chicago Academy for the Arts as a part of their Musical Theatre department, and graduated in 2014. She then headed to Boston to pursue her BFA in Musical Theatre at Emerson College, and graduated in May of 2018.
Post grad, Sydney was seen in Florida Repertory Theatre's 21st Season in Fort Myers, Florida. She appeared in the theatre's touring TYA shows as Juliet in "Romeo & Juliet", Sally in "The Cat in the Hat", and originating the role of Isabel in Eric Coble's adaptation of "Refugee". She will also be seen in Florida Repertory's main stage productions as Fan/Catherine/Others in "Christmas Carol" and as Jackie in "Hay Fever".
Sydney was previously an acting intern with Berkshire Theatre Group, where she appeared as "Ethel Toffelmier" in their production of The Music Man and understudied the role of "Dyanne" in their production of Million Dollar Quartet. She also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) during the summer of 2016, where she appeared as "Dorrie Whitbred" in their workshop of Frank Loesser's Greenwillow.
Sydney recently moved to New York City. In her spare time, she loves walking around museums, filling her brain with random pop culture trivia, watching old movies, and seeing as much theatre as she possibly can.
